Adding custom items

Hi. Im sorry for my noob question, I've been out of the industry for 4 years. Regarding adding custom items, I have read the guide in the wiki but I just want to clarify. Im currently using 20151104 client, and it says that what i needed to edit was just iteminfo.lub? no need to edit the accname and accessoryid?

 

Also, when editing this iteminfo.lub, do i just open it, edit, and then save? thanks in advance!

It depends. If you are adding headgears, you need to edit the accname / accesoryid lub files.
If not, you only need to update itemInfo.lub.

You can edit, save, then put inside your client's System folder.

@Myriad I see. So it's the same with the older clients when it comes to adding custom items. Im using Notepad+ for editing, would that suffice? thanks man!

I also use Notepad++ it works okay for lub.
