About
This tool is a feature test of RO Patcher Lite's GRF library. It reduces GRF archive size by eliminating duplicated data, with non-shared palettes giving the best ratios. No client modifications are needed. See readme.txt for more details.

Known Issues
Using the "use best compression" option (off by default) might cause the client being unable to read certain files or degrade performance.

My fRO GRF works fine. When it says, that it's not supported, then the signature "Master of Magic" was not found. Does your fRO GRF actually work?

actually yea, it's works fine and i can play the game with no problems.

i will try later to make fRO out of C, maybe it's problem with reading the file itself cause permissions ? not sure.

If the group "Users" has at least read access to the archive (File Properties -> Security Tab), it should be enough to access it. The client might have more permissions, because it is generally elevated.

Damned NT with it's "security".

any chance to make it displays which file was not "successfully" read? =D I always wanted to know which file is corrupted in official GRF

You can use rsu.test for that. Edited by Ai4rei

There was something like that, GRF Shell Extension, but it's complexity killed it. There is also something to that effect in development, but I still lack the necessary skills to complete it.
