in EndlessTower.txt

switch(select("Generate dungeon "+.@md_name$+":Enter the dungeon:Return to Alberta:Cancel")) {

How can I make the string of  var  .@md_name$  work well?

.@md_name$ = "Endless Tower";
would have to become
.@md_name$ = _("Endless Tower");

@@Ind

.@md_name$ = _("Endless Tower"); --->  doesn't work

 set .@md_name$, _("Endless Tower");  -->tested, work fine for me

can you make the direct assign of variable also works well

I have a suggestion (if you ever read this lol)

is it possible to make the entries to cover the whole text instead of lines?

example:

instead of the following script generate 4 entries

1 - mes "blablabla";

2 - mes "blablabla";

3 - mes "blablabla";

4 - mes "blablabla";

5 - close; or next;

it would generate just a single entry:

blablabla

blablabla

blablabla

blablabla

because it is too painful to translate line per line

Isn't there find and replace button?

Well, it isn't good for replacing all with one line, since there may be NPC with next line something different, and on different language, sometimes they need to be reordered or merged into one.

yeah, actually the right thing to do is rework the NPC files...

by the way, there is still a problem with the translated file, it is too large, 22mb~ =0

@@Tio Akima

here it opens just fine, try reinstalling poedit or maybe try to open the pot file directly with poedit (abrir com...) instead of  using "Criar Nova Tradução"

got a few suggestions:

1) Add option to choose if u need to create translations for standart NPCs or not?

2) make a command like @reloadlangdb aswell, which will reset the db/translations.conf? So we don't have to restart server

What if I need to translate dispbottom, broadcast commands aswell?

got a problem with this system, i did a translation of Russian text in English aswell putting Russian as default language, but when I do @lang English and then talk with NPC it still shows Russian translations. No errors in map-server

-- Problem fixed, English.po is being overwrited by server, so I did change in script.c

script->add_language("English");

into

script->add_language("Russian");

and got it working ! ;-)

The .po file creation is automated, you have to translate it manually.

1) po must be saved in ASCII (if I remember well)

2) Client should use correct codepage (use OpenSetup and ROExt, and change the codepage to other language)

- Po can be save ASCI to UTF-8 ?
- Client can use langtype default to UTF-8 ?
- you have a simple file .po UTF-8 ?

Sry, I'm bad English.
