20120418 Client Problem.

Hello, I posted another topic earlier about a different client and well, I switch back to using RagexRe. since, some people (for some reason still can't use the 2013) client. Everything is up to date regarding client translations but still I have this problem. Diff I used

Already used clean files from there. still have that.

Maybe you updated kro later on, and it replaced your iteminfo.lub?

This client version is somewhat old, perhaps it's still using the .txt formats (idnum2itemdisplaynametable.txt, etc)? Same for the lua files, the old path being datalua files instead of dataluafiles514lua files (edit: zackdreamer is right, 2012-04-18aRagexeRE reads from LuaFiles514, the client does not read iteminfo.lua/lub however). Test around and you'll know soon enough which is which.

First reason why I ask is because you've shown us your data folder and not your GRF. It is also because reading from the data folder is sometimes "safer" than reading from the GRFs. Some clients may ignore your data.ini priorities and read your lubs from rdata.grf (even if rdata.grf isn't in your data.ini). Not sure if this is a bug specific to NEMO, I haven't tried another client differ.

 

Putting your files in the data folder ensures they're going to be read before anything else. If reading from the data folder is not an option for you, then you may want to use the "Read lua before lub" diff + rename your lubs to luas.

hmm... when i look at your first post's SS

there is one untranslated button...

might be because of wrong path in your grf OR wrong order in data.ini

well, I figured that the client I was using wasn't reading the GRF files, anyway, now I downloaded a clean client, it reads the grf since I can see my log in bg now. but it crashes after selecting charcter(on loading screen)

Not compatiable with clients before 2012-04-18

This section you will be able to download a small client version for the hercules svn or any other svn you may use. This simply installs the basics to translate the latest kro installation you have installed above. This also allows you to use this installer to test your own server as well.

 

1) Download the small client installer (Uses 7z): http://www.sendspace.com/file/xfg6f4

2) Install the small client installer into your clean RO folder (Run as admin to avoid conflicts) :

3) From here, you can run Hercules.exe and test your server if you have setup a local one (The Hercules Test client has been packed, so if you do get a notification from a scanner, then that means it is a false positive) :

4) If you try to run the client and get a prompt box (Ragnarok_RE has changed) box, simply press "ok" and close the window that pops up. Next time, there won't be any prompt anymore

3. I tried RagExe and it works and no error, but when i tried RagExeRE, error occur in Prontera

4. RagExe = No Korean Words | RagExeRE = All Korean ( rely on number 2 )

 

I don't know if nemo patcher support only RagExe and not RagExeRE

Yeah,figured that too. Since ive tried lots and lots of clean kro and rediffing just like what we've talked about. Haha.
