Introducing the ggTheme

About
When I have some free time, I like theming and playing around with web coding. I decided to theme out gg's site. Even though this theme isn't all the fancy and cut-out like those huge high-end themes, this theme is decent and is elegant yet pleasing and calming to the eyes.

Top Header

Logo

If you look closely at the logo in the live theme, you'll notice it tends to disappear as you scroll. Not only that, when you hover, it likes to bounce! Basically, when users visit the site, you are greeted with a large-sized logo. However, instead of obscuring the view of the site as you scroll, it fades into the background. It's like it was never there in the first place!

PvP Ladder

The PvP Ladder consists of a list of 10 players ranging from the best player (01) to the least best player (10). Only the first player (Rank 1) gets their own picture that is automatically changed depending on the character's job and gender. Not to mention, you get a little Offline / Online shown if the person is... well... offline or online!

Smooth Scroll

Not a lot of RO sites have this. It's something neat to have because we are filled with a lot of lazy players (ahem) that may not want to scroll all the way to the top of the website... This way, all you gotta do is click the little arrow button and you are slowly scrolled to the top automatically! It's like magic in a little arrow. Don't worry. It only appears when you scroll to about mid-page!

Fontawesome
Another feature I decided to add was the usability of Fontawesome. Font Awesome gives you scable vector icons that can instantly be customized - size, color, drop shadow, and anything that can be done with the power of CSS.

CSS-Optimized
The site is designed using a lot of CSS instead of a lot of images for backgrounds, borders, etc. A lot of sites use many images to create borders, backgrounds for sidebars, etc. which render the loading speed of the page. Having minimal images is best for optimization!

Footer

When visiting the footer, you can see nifty little spinning social media links (hover over them!) Not to mention, you're presented with the copyright information + a side of quick links!
