My Client Crashes

Question

Hello, I downloaded a client with version 2019-09-04a Ragexe and I used it on 2019-02-25 kRO and I connected to my server, but when I tried to make a new char this message appeared and the client crashed after that.

If I try to login into my other account that already had 2 characters, the client crashes immediately after login.

You need to download a new data folder. It's missing some sprites.

You are using a newest client with an old data folder.

Or you can use download an old client to match with your files in your data folder/ grf.

no its the client thats incompatible with some things...

just grab the grf you updated off of kro main website and toss it in your folder

check your data.ini and make sure your thing is diffed for multiple grfs if its still not working

I will use a client that is similar to the client that kRO updated into.

I used 2019-09-18bRagexe, but it still crashes !!

Is it cause I let the kRO update?

Can you try it without your custom grf? (Just clientinfo.xml), so that it can be known where the issue lies.

Most probably it seems like some luafiles might have wrong encoding or outdated kRO.
