Position 1: Developer / Start-Up Consultant

I am wishing to launch an RO private server from the ground up and am looking to first hire an individual that can assist with setting up the necessary server files on a dedicated host. I am looking to begin the server at Episode 3 and move forward with episodes from there. To accomplish this, I would like a developer to first help me set up a server that includes all content through Episode 3, while blocking off later episode content. Note that this may require some inclusion of later features that were added after Episode 3 to the UI/UX and that is acceptable. The goal is to try to replicate the feel of a truly classic experience while retaining some quality of life improvements.

As a developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up all necessary files on the hosted server.
  • Setting up the control panel for the server.
  • Setting up the patcher and patch server, working with graphics designer to implement GUI.
  • Packaging the initial client and patcher into a downloadable executable.
  • Setting up security (Gepard 3.0 or equivalent).
  • Setting up the website (this role may be shared with an artist who can help with graphic content).
  • Integrating the current game database into the website (searchable database with accurate information reflecting the server tables).
  • Creating website functionality for creating and managing user accounts.
  • Consulting with me in regards to updating the server through Git and pushing out new patches (this is more of an instructional role that will be paid by the hour in addition to the base project pay).

Pay will be based on negotiation, but I have a substantial budget and plan to make the most out of a qualified individual's experience with opportunities for future projects and consulting. Please reach out to me at Maginitis#3357 on Discord to inquire about this posting.

Position 2: Graphics Designer (Website / Patcher / Client)

I am seeking an experienced designer that can create and implement custom artwork for use in the website and patcher. Note that this role may have some overlap with Position 1, so some collaboration may be required. Note that this role requires some knowledge of CSS and other web design know-how.

As a graphic designer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing the website and server logo.
  • Designing and styling the website splash page and content pages.
  • Designing and styling the patcher.
  • Creating in-game loading screens and general graphics for the client.

Pay will be based on negotiation, but I have a substantial budget and plan to make the most out of a qualified individual's experience with opportunities for future projects and consulting. Please reach out to me at Maginitis#3357 on Discord to inquire about this posting.

Kind of service like that, it's expensive.
Because what you're asking is not a person, but several, see the pre requirement of the worker's role.

I recommend you look for the most experienced person on LinkedIn, who develops the Back end and Front End web-site and negotiates with the programmer for the job.
Remembering that programmer charges by the hour.

In this type of Service you are looking for System Administrator or Computer Scientists for that type of Service.

I'm still studying Computer Science, I'm in the fourth period, I've already had classes in HTML, JavaScript, CSS3 and PHP.
However, I have no experience in the area.
