Connection Request Refused

Question

I've tried looking up this issue in Hercules,rAthena and even on eAthena boards but none of them seem to be conclusive as to what's causing this error. The server communication passwords are not default and have been set accordingly to the correct password. Also, since time of posting the SQL updates have already been applied.

But here's where I'm stuck at, what did I miss that keeps stopping me from going further? Thanks.

just execute the 2 sql files in your db or just follow the command type: 'sql update skip <filename>'

sql update skip 2013-15--00--06.sql

Since that screenshot I have executed those updates, but still getting that rejected issue.

Yea because you miss to set the right PW/Login at all files or in the Database.

Check your files with this guide:

http://herc.ws/board/topic/968-guide-how-to-setup-hercules/

See I read through that, but I guess im getting stuck at the SQL end since im doing this through linux (centOS/redhat).

I was reading other content that stated to set changes in the .txt files in the conf/import instead of the actual .conf files?

Some User say its better to set the config at conf/import beacuse so you dont need to reedit this files after updateing your hercules to lastest version.

What is the problem at SQL? You can use Workbench at your local PC and connect to the server. Or did you use on your Home PC also linux?
