I tested the HW's skill Ganbantein, to see if it behaves as described by docs (iROwiki and such) and if it is implemented correctly.
Here's what I've got:
The skill will punch a 3x3 hole into virtually any land skill. I've seen it do this to
- Icewall (removes targeted part, can be cast on top of it)
- Safety Wall
- Firewall
- Pneuma (only cancels affected cells, rest stays intact)
- Storm Gust (cuts a safely walkable hole into the ongoing skill)
- Battle Chant
- Whirlwind, Volcano, Deluge
- Magnetic Earth
- songs / dances / ensembles
- traps
So from what I see, there are numerous questions, like
- it cancels songs, dances and ensembles, eathena says it should only touch ensembles
- Storm Gust and other AoE damage spells actually only use a single cell, and scan the area around it instead. So this cannot be implemented. Also, this can be exploited since throwing Ganbantein into the center cancels the entire skill.
