As topic says. No traps except ankle snare will apply their effect (sleep, sp suck, damage, ...) if their owner trips them on pvp.
EDIT: They don't apply on the owner... but tripping a Claymore Trap will still splash on surrounding targets - just no the hunter.
Seems to be a targeting/vs. check going wrong.
