inconsistency after uncloaking on warp

My brother encountered a strange situation today. He was cloaking on a warp on Nameless Island when a Hell Poodle attacked him and de-cloaked him. Suddenly he found himself teleported (the warp sucked him in after de-cloaking, I assume).

Something broke though, and instead of inside the Cursed Abbey map, he found himself in the bottom-left corner of nameless island (I assume, coords x:0,y:0). From that point on until he butterfly-winged, he could use fly wings to teleport around the map with disregard to walkability checks. Once he left the map, he lost this ability.

In the first screenshot, you can see he's below water level. Also notice the warp next to him... no idea where that came from.
In the second screenshot, that's after he fly-winged a bit (while landing on nonwalkable cells most of the time) and where I requested a /where. He was still physically on the map, since he could walk and fight mobs if he managed to land on a normal spot.
In the third screenshot, he's stuck inside a wall. ...

I recall a previous bugreport where someone complained that a particular warp in thanatos tower did something like this to a player. Maybe the above-mentioned scenario was the cause?

I didn't get the opportunity to test and try to reproduce this. Feel free to try.
