Online list doesn't work

Hello!

We are running a TXT based ragnarok server for more than 3 years now. While the years were passing by, we never had any real problem with it. In early September (I guess, cannot remember well, sorry), we updated our eathena for the latest stable one. Since then, the "who is online" list doesn't work. Since that update, we updated to the latest stable svn at least 3 times, but the online list still doesn't work. I tried the whole thing whith other xray clients, but still nothing (I know that it won't solve the problem, because the online list worked perfectly with that client earlier).
Two of our administrators started to find out what's wrong in the source files. They said that the part what handles the whole online thing was totally rewritten, but since that's too inordinate to understand everything, they couldn't fix the problem.

We are currently using eAthena r13278 SVN (stable) and 2008-05-28a Xray Client (this client is pretty new, a day before we used 2008-01-22 Xray Client).

We've done a full reset on the server in July, so it's running for so long since it's start. We were thinking about switching to SQL, but everyone said that converting everything to SQL is pretty impossible.
