Building the mapcache executable for a 64bit linux causes it to write faulty mapcache files, it detects a higher number of maps than there are(28483 instead of about 710 for me), which are all rejected by the mapserver uppon trying to read this file.
As workaround -m32 can be added to compile it as 32bit executable
gcc version used: 4.3.2 (Debian 4.3.2-1)
