I'm not sure if this has been discussed already, but the Monster AI on eAthena works differently from official servers.

1.) On official servers, you can tank a MVP like Randgris or Satan Morroc and use close combat skills (like Asura, Sonic Blow) on it, and the MVP won't change target if the tank stays alive. Also, a well-known strategy is to use a Whitesmith to Highspeed Cartram Beelzebub while it's being tanked by a Champion. This is not possible on Eathena because the MVP would instantly change target, so currently, it's only possible to kill those MVPs using ranged skills like Double Strafe, Soul Breaker, or Acid Demonstration.

Neither MVPs nor normal monsters should change target as long as it's not getting attacked by non-skill melee hits.

2.) If you tank the MVP and the slave mob seperately, for example, using a Champion as main tank for Randgris and a Professor as secondary tank for the 3 Valks, the slave mob should alwas run back to the secondary tank once the MVP recalls them (as long as the secondary tank remains in sight range). On eAthena, the slave mob gets recalled and will instantly start attacking the main tank again.
