So our server is still having trouble with pet renaming, the problem being that the clientside packet never receives a response from the server due to packet length or version or some such. This has been an issue for several months now, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any possible way to resolve this. I've already worked with a few eA devs including ultramage and Paradox on this, but no solution seems to be in sight. Players are getting restless, so any help would be appreciated.
Ran a packet sniffer to confirm the packet was getting no response from the server, ensured that packet_db had the correct settings, and that another source file (name of which I cannot recall) had the appropriate length settings. I can provide anything that is needed to resolve this, but it is crucial that this is resolved as soon as possible; players are starting to wonder if any work is actually being done on this.
