Shield reflecting MvPs is a very common tactic on iRO/kRO. I've personally this on eA, and essentially what you get is a LOLRUDEATTACK and an instantly teleporting MvP, thus making this strategy impossible to carry out.

After trying quite a few different things with the help of Lone and a well versed server GM, we found that if you set one of the monster constants that dictates essentially how long their AI stays active, you can reduce the teleport effect to only happen IF the MvP killed you itself. This brings the issue to simply being a Rude Attack problem, where the monster counts shield reflect as a rude attack. From playing on iRO, this is what I notice:

Shield Reflect (strictly the skill) will not teleport anything.
Equipment Reflect (Valk mant, etc) WILL teleport things if you die.

Additionally, I haven't looked for this on eA, but on iRO, if you shield reflect something, the attacker actually takes damage before the target, such that you can walk in and walk out of a place, shield reflect WILL go off, and you can evade damage -- but the attacker is still hurt. As well, Shield Reflect and Equipment reflect count as two different reflects and show as two different numbers reflecting.

Spider Web:
I've discussed this one with Lone as well and he can't come up with a fix, but if you Spider Web something and hit it out of its range, it SHOULD tele. Additionally, fiber'd monsters should NOT be idle (as in, they should fight back!)
