For some reason the Bio 3 MVP has a bit of a problem. The problem is the slaves coming off the MVP when it dies/is hurt/whatever. It gets annoying because you can kill the MVP but then die to the slave monsters. Even worse is when you hurt the MVP a little bit but the slaves come off it anyways. This seems to happen randomly, and if it happens once it won't happen again on the same MVP as far as I've seen. If it does happen, guess what. It spawns more! This does not seem to happen with any other monsters in the game. I wonder what makes the Bio 3 MVPs so special...
