1. Organize a Party with Paladin and One Character ( example Sniper )
2. Use Devotion to the Sniper
3. After Devotion, Put some auto Guard, Endure, defender and reflect shield
4. leave the party
5. the sniper still on devo with you

I myself experienced this on a official server, it is "bugged" there too, so it's official behavior.
