Quest Log entries disappear upon character select/log out.
It's completely gone from the server too cause scripts that test for time limitations such as the one in Orc's Memory allows you to create a completely new instance again despite the time needed for re-entry have not yet passed.
Or maybe quest log is not a feature for TXT servers?

I just tested on SQL. It is not a feature of TXT Server.
