Are you opening the file in like Wordpad or Microsoft Word? Some word editors will add random symbols (for formatting).
Try editing the scripts in Notepad or Notepad++.

Open up one of the files you've edited in Notepad (heal.txt I guess), then check the first line and see if those weird symbols show up ([color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif][size=3]w1=//). [/size][/font][/color]

If you're not seeing the symbol, it just means your text editor isn't display it .. but the symbol is obviously there because when rAthena tries to read the file it sees it.
Download [url="http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/"]Notepad++[/url] and use that to edit your scripts.
