Scratch that, the problem is actually that since r15572, all skills are enabled for GMs by default. See also [url="http://rathena.org/board/tracker/issue-5349-all-skills-char-server-problem"]this bug[/url].

Something to do with the client silently overwriting stuff when receiving packets too large for its buffer.. Why it waits until char select to show any defects, probably pure coincidence.
