There is a small glitch in the message displaying code that I found when trying to get rid of a few printf()'s:
If you use a timestamp format, it's impossible to print a message without it - even with MSG_NONE specified. This makes it hard to do multiple prints into the same line.
Shinomori pointed out once that timestamps should be done by the calling code, maybe he was referring to stuff like this :\
