I know this bug is in pre-renewal and only happens if you have a casting time. It seems to happen a lot with dangerous soul collect. It goes something like this...

1. Attack a monster with /nc on
2. While attacking use dangerous soul collect
3. Get hit while casting
4. Character gets stuck in the casting motion and is unable to move unless attacked again, a certain amount of time passes, or you cast the skill again. If you keep clicking the ground you can eventually move.

It's incredibly annoying. Is this really official behavior?

Same can happen with root/blade stop. Sometimes when the monster dies after being rooted, you can't move unless you cast a spiritball or something....

It's not just for monk class characters, either; It happens with every class with an interruptible skill. A good example is mage classes and geographers. If you accidentally run too close to the geographer and cast a spell next to it, then there's a high chance of this happening there too. No hit motion, just damage and the character getting stuck in the casting motion. Sages with free cast are exempt from this. I've observed it happens most often when you spam the skill. Could it be a failure to register that the character has been hit and stopped casting somewhere? Is this really official behavior?

I love rA, but I hate that we have to mimic obvious bugs...

Let's wait for the developers. Im sure there is/are some fix for this if this is really a server bug, if its a client side bug, then we have to find a way or for some expert to fix it via diff or hex. :D

Thats why we have this bug tracker thread. /ok
