Buff of a rental Item doesnt appear after the item is gone

Hy,

i am using items on my server which grants special buffs for exp. when you equip the item you get the SC_CASH_PLUSEXP as long as you wear the item.
when i unequip the item, the buff gets removed.
when im logged in and the item is running out and gets removed from the character by the server, the buff also dissapears.

but when the item is running out and gets removed from character by the server while this person is logged out. the item dissapears from the characters equipment, but the buff is still there.
