Hmm, I can't quite tell why this happens, but frame #3 looks very suspicious. I'd like to inspect the stack, if you still have the core dump and the matching executable for it (and you don't mind sending it to me.)
Unless someone else can guess why node->next isn't zero, but isn't a valid pointer either.
